At Glendale Farms, riding is what we love and really why we are here. We take it very seriously with staff that will work to improve the advanced rider and encourage the beginner rider while also maintaining a energetic, fun, environment. We are truly focused on advancing our riders passion and love for horses. Our lessons run hourly after four o’clock over the summer months and after five in the fall, winter, and spring. We have two riding instructors who both have years of riding experience and horse knowledge to help you improve your riding skills or if you are a beginner start you on you equine riding journey. We offer lessons in both English and Western disciplines on a range of talented horses and ponies. Riders are encouraged to arrive 30 min before each lesson to tack and groom their horse before each lesson. On Saturdays we offer a full day riding package! Our schedule for Saturday is full of opportunities to work with others and practice important teamwork skills! The day starts at 9 with 3-4 hours of riding throughout the day. After lunch the riders get the chance to learn more about the daily tasks performed to keep their horse healthy and happy! Some of these tasks include tacking, grooming, feeding, and plenty of ground work.
